Description
A comforting classic, this baked ziti features layers of gooey cheese and rich marinara sauce.

- 12 oz ziti pasta
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions; drain.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the marinara sauce, half of the cooked ziti, and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat layers and top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
