Description

A quick and cheesy breakfast or lunch that requires minimal cleanup and can be customized with various toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of decent bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: diced ham, sliced tomato, garlic butter, jalapeños, feta, avocado

Instructions

  1. Make a hollow in the center of each slice of bread with the back of a spoon.
  2. Crack an egg into the hollow.
  3. Sprinkle cheese on top of the egg.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  5. Place in the air fryer and cook at 350°F for 7-10 minutes based on desired egg consistency.
  6. Let cool for 30 seconds before serving.

Notes

Use day-old bread for better texture. Shredding your own cheese can help prevent clumping and result in smoother melting.
