A quick and cheesy breakfast or lunch that requires minimal cleanup and can be customized with various toppings.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of decent bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: diced ham, sliced tomato, garlic butter, jalapeños, feta, avocado
Instructions
- Make a hollow in the center of each slice of bread with the back of a spoon.
- Crack an egg into the hollow.
- Sprinkle cheese on top of the egg.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Place in the air fryer and cook at 350°F for 7-10 minutes based on desired egg consistency.
- Let cool for 30 seconds before serving.
Notes
Use day-old bread for better texture. Shredding your own cheese can help prevent clumping and result in smoother melting.
