Description

A simple and delicious banana bread recipe that transforms overripe bananas into a moist and flavorful treat.


Ingredients

  • 3 overripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Mash the overripe bananas in a mixing bowl until mostly smooth.
  2. Mix in melted butter.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and stir until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
