Description

A simple, healthy dog treat made with bananas and peanut butter, perfect for spoiling your furry friend.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup xylitol-free peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cups oat flour or regular flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup water or unsalted bone broth
  • 1 egg or flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed + 2.5 tablespoons water)
  • Optional: ½ cup plain pumpkin puree

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Add the oat flour, baking powder, and water (or broth) to the bowl and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, prepare the flax egg if using, then add it to the mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the pumpkin puree, if desired.
  6. Divide the batter evenly into the muffin tins.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving to your dog.
