Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (optional)
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Add honey and mix until well combined.
  4. Incorporate the flour and rolled oats gradually, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. If using, stir in peanut butter and/or pumpkin puree.
  6. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
  7. Cut the dough into shapes using cookie cutters.
  8. Place the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
