Description

Savory and wholesome protein bars made with broccoli and chicken, perfect for meal prep and a nutritious snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 cups finely chopped broccoli florets
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Steam broccoli florets until tender, then squeeze out excess water.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, steamed broccoli, egg whites, cheeses, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix until well combined, then transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bars are firm and cooked through.
  6. Let cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
