- 2 cans of crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease your baking dish and lay one can of crescent rolls in the bottom, sealing the seams.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the dough base.
- Cover the filling with the second can of crescent rolls.
- Melt the butter and mix it with cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle or brush over the top layer.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
For an extra twist, add raspberries to the filling for a tart flavor. Line your pan with parchment for easy cleanup.
