Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the wet ingredients: eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into greased cake pans.
  6. Bake until a toothpick comes out nearly clean.
  7. Let the cake cool before frosting.

Notes

For the best results, use room temperature ingredients and sift the cocoa powder to avoid lumps.
