Description

Simple and healthy frozen dog treats made with cucumber and yogurt, ideal for summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • Optional: A couple sprigs of fresh mint or parsley

Instructions

  1. Toss the chopped cucumber (and herbs, if using) into a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add in the Greek yogurt and blend everything together until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into silicone dog treat molds or an ice cube tray.
  5. Freeze for at least three to four hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Once frozen, pop out the treats and store them in a freezer bag.

Notes

For smaller dogs, use smaller molds to avoid choking hazards. These treats can last a month in the freezer.
