Ingredients

- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Your choice of sausage, pepperoni, or roasted veggies
- 2 cups chunky tomato sauce
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Mix the dough ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Grease a deep-dish pan and press the dough into the bottom and up the sides.
- Layer mozzarella cheese on the bottom.
- Add sausage or pepperoni, or roasted veggies.
- Pour chunky tomato sauce over the fillings.
- Sprinkle with parmesan, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Bake at 425°F for 35-40 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Use low-moisture mozzarella for the best results. Let the dough rest for improved texture.
