Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Mix in flour, salt, and olive oil until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 45-60 minutes.
  4. Drizzle olive oil on a baking pan and spread the dough out, poking dimples in the surface.
  5. Let the dough rise again briefly, then sprinkle with flaky salt and additional olive oil.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F until golden and crisp at the edges, about 20-25 minutes.
