- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- Pinch of salt
- 1 egg, beaten (for brushing, optional)
- Toppings like everything bagel seasoning, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix self-raising flour and Greek yogurt until combined.
- Add a pinch of salt and mix until a dough forms.
- Dust your hands with flour and knead the dough gently.
- Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into bagels.
- Place bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and add preferred toppings.
- Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For a glossier finish, brush with beaten egg before baking. Bagels can be frozen for later use.
