Description

A healthy and simple homemade beef meatloaf recipe for dogs that ensures your furry friend gets real, nutritious food.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup pureed carrots or green beans
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach (optional)
  • 1/4 cup plain pumpkin puree
  • Splash of olive oil
  • Tiny pinch of dried parsley (if vet-approved)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, rolled oats, pureed carrots or green beans, chopped spinach, pumpkin puree, olive oil, and parsley.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. Let it cool before slicing into portions for your dog.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for about four days. Slice into squares for easy serving. For longer storage, freeze individual pieces.
