Description

Delicious and customizable homemade granola bars that are healthier and tastier than store-bought options.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ½ cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or sunflower seed butter)
  • ½ cup mix-ins (mini chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Warm your nut butter with honey or syrup until melty.
  2. Dump the mixture over the oats and salt, then stir to combine.
  3. Mix in your favorite bits.
  4. Line a pan with parchment paper and press the mixture down firmly.
  5. Chill for an hour to set, slice, and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week at room temperature or two weeks in the fridge. Can be frozen for a month.
