- Apricot preserves or sugar-water for glaze
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
- Chill the dough for at least an hour.
- Roll out the dough and cut into egg shapes using a cutter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Frost each cookie with the cream cheese mixture.
