A simple, delicious banana nut bread made in one bowl, perfect for busy mornings.

- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Add in baking soda and salt, stir to combine.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually add the flour, stirring until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before removing from the pan.
Notes
For extra flavor, scatter some chopped nuts on top before baking. You can substitute walnuts with pecans or hazelnuts.
