Description

A sweet and spicy Peach Chutney that enhances the flavor of your meals, ideal for pairing with meats, cheeses, or as a dip.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 45 ripe peaches, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Handful of raisins (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Fresh grated ginger (or powdered)

Instructions

  1. Chop up the peaches and add them to a pot along with the diced onion and minced garlic.
  2. Add apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, salt, raisins, red pepper flakes, and ginger to the pot.
  3. Simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes until it thickens and becomes sticky.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.

Notes

Peach Chutney lasts up to three weeks in the fridge and can be frozen for later use. Great for gifting in cute jars.
