Description

Wholesome and crunchy dog treats made with peanut butter and carrots, packed with nutrients for your furry friend.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, grated carrots, whole wheat flour, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. If the dough is too dry, add water, a tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into shapes.
  5. Place the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and hard to the touch.
  7. Allow treats to cool completely in the oven to achieve a crunchy texture.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to one week, or refrigerate for longer shelf life. Treats can also be frozen for up to three months.
