Ingredients

- 1 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 1 cup grated carrots
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, grated carrots, whole wheat flour, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- If the dough is too dry, add water, a tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick and cut into shapes.
- Place the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and hard to the touch.
- Allow treats to cool completely in the oven to achieve a crunchy texture.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to one week, or refrigerate for longer shelf life. Treats can also be frozen for up to three months.
