Description

Delight in the flavors of fall with these moist and flavorful pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, a true seasonal favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • 1 cup pure pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugars, spices, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients: pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, and milk.
  4. Gently pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips carefully to avoid overmixing.
  6. Fill the muffin liners about two-thirds full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Notes

For extra moisture, consider adding applesauce or sour cream. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
