- 1 boneless turkey breast (or turkey tenderloins)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- Optional: Cayenne pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Mix yogurt, olive oil, spices, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and cayenne (if using) in a bowl to create the marinade.
- Coat the turkey breast in the yogurt-spice mixture and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the turkey breast on a roasting pan (or baking sheet) and roast for about 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Baste the turkey with pan juices halfway through cooking for added moisture.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Notes
The yogurt marinade is key for juiciness and flavor. Serve with pita, rice, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
