Description

A warm, creamy soup that combines the beloved flavors of buffalo chicken with a hearty, comforting broth.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Blue cheese crumbles for garnish
  • Crispy fried onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add chicken broth, buffalo sauce, celery, and carrots. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in shredded chicken.
  4. Add cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
  5. Season with smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve garnished with green onions, blue cheese crumbles, and crispy onions.

Notes

For a milder soup, reduce the amount of buffalo sauce or add more cream. You can also substitute cream cheese with coconut milk for a dairy-free option.
