- 5–6 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, feta, etc.)
- 1–2 cups leftover vegetables (chopped)
- 1/2 cup diced ham, sausage, or bacon (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Dried herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.
- Add the milk and whisk until combined.
- Stir in the shredded cheese.
- Add chopped vegetables and meats if using, then season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until it barely jiggles in the middle.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
